If you are struggling with hunger or need help feeding your family, we can help. We have sites in Cave Creek, Black Canyon City and New River (see below). Just call us or send an email for information on getting food, food bank hours and information about other services we provide.

We do not require proof of income or citizenship.

If you live within our boundaries and need help, we can provide weekly food baskets that include:

  • fresh fruit and vegetables
  • bakery items
  • fresh beef, pork and chicken
  • canned goods like corn, beans & peanut butter
  • basic household supplies
  • personal hygiene items
  • pet food

We also provide limited financial support and have kind and knowledgeable staffers who can provide one-on-one help in applying for other programs and assistance that could lighten your load.

We can help the farm animals, too!
We strive to operate a no waste program. Our neighbors in need are provided healthy, fresh food. Sometimes we have fruits and vegetables that are overripe or some days, supply out paces demand. We don’t want anything to go to waste and are glad to donate overripe and unusable food items to our local farmers who can use it to feed their animals. Contact us if you need more information.

Can’t come to us?
For some neighbors, transportation and logistics can be a challenge and picking up supplies and food is difficult, if not impossible. Thanks to our partnership with Foothills Caring Corp, many of our senior neighbors receive home delivery of food baskets at no charge. To find out if this service is available to you, just ask our staff.

Free Senior Market Open for Business

Join us every Monday at the Cave Creek location for a new and unique Senior Market, open to all neighbors aged 55+. There is no cost, no preregistration and no proof of residency required. We are just happy to offer seniors a hand and introduce them to all the wonderful options we offer.

Every Monday from 9am – Noon, seniors are invited to come by the Foothills Food Bank Cave Creek location for fresh fruit, produce, protein such as fish and beef, and of course bread and sweets. You simply pull into the reserved parking lot across the street from our location and give us a call at 480-488-1145. We will place your name and number on first come, first served list. We allow everyone about 15 minutes inside the market and will call you when it’s your turn. You will be given a parking spot number closer to the food bank and invited to come on down! Friendly volunteers will be on-site to provide further directions, provide you a shopping cart and offer any assistance you might need. It’s that simple!

If you have questions or need additional information, please give us a call. We look forward to seeing you next Monday.
